Week 5 TNF Showdown: 49ers @ Rams
Looking at this wild week five opener between the banged up 49ers and the Rams
This is the most interesting showdown of the year. Not from the perspective that you want to watch this game, but from the projecting and building a cash lineup perspective. The 49ers are now missing:
Brock Purdy
George Kittle
Brandon Aiyuk
Ricky Pearsall
Jauan Jennings
We knew about Kittle & Aiyuk weeks ahead of time. The other three were less known. The 49ers have essentially given themselves a bye week here rather than forcing in these banged up players on a short week against a tough opponent.
And I think this works to our benefit. If anybody is building lineups without projections in this one, they are further behind than usual. We have the game’s top two fantasy players by expected fantasy points this year.
So we’ll absolutely need both of those guys. But they’re extremely easy to get with this 49ers value.
I’m not going to even bother with my own analysis and picks and stuff. We’re just going to go with the projections. But let’s get behind the paywall first.
